I Kept a Stranger’s Package

We’ve all had that moment.
A mysterious package shows up at the front door. No name you recognize. No note. Just... sitting there.
You do the honest thing (of course), you ask around the house. No one claims it. You check the label again. “Delivered correctly,” the tracker says.
But you can’t help but wonder:
Do I open it? Return it? Keep it?
I wrestled with that exact dilemma last month. The parcel had no store branding, just a vague return address and an oddly soft squish to it.
Fast-forward 48 hours of it sitting on the kitchen counter, untouched but tempting. I finally cracked. Curiosity won. Inside?
A Twister Bed Sheet.
I laughed out loud.
Was this a prank? A weird brand drop? A mistake from my latest Amazon order gone hilariously wrong?
Spoiler: it wasn’t a mistake.
Turns out my brother (yes, he lives with us) had ordered it for his girlfriend and had it shipped under a weird name to surprise her. Surprise achieved!
Well… curiosity may have killed the cat, but it saved our date night.
The sheet got used...eventually by me and my partner. And let’s just say the bedroom hasn’t been boring since.
Moral of the story?
Sometimes the universe (or Amazon) delivers just what you need.
